Kybele speaks

Kybele says: your body is the mountain, and nothing about it needs your apology. The lions at your side are your appetites and your anger. Ride them, don't cage them.

Artemis of Ephesus, of your roots

You carry the many-breasted mother of Ephesus in your bones: the one who feeds and still runs wild. She reminds you that nourishing others was never meant to mean taming yourself.

Nehalennia, of the land holding you

Here, the goddess of safe crossings stands with her dog by the water. She has watched many women arrive from far away. She asks you to let this flat, windy land teach you to travel light.

Ataegina, of the place you're tuning in from

Ataegina, the old goddess of spring and rebirth here, greets the traveller. She asks what you'd like to plant while your feet are on new ground.

Today's sky · Hekate visits

The Moon is in Scorpio and Hekate holds up her torch. With your Taurus Sun in opposition, someone close may mirror a truth back to you this week. Your gut already knows which door to open.

What the cup shows

  • A bird near the rim
A message is on its way to you, and you may be the one sending it. Something you've been holding back wants to be said out loud.
  • A long road down the side
A path you choose for yourself. Its length is your stamina, not a delay.
  • A small heart near the handle
Love close to home. Start with the love you give yourself.

What your body is saying

The warmth in your chest is Kybele's fire meeting Nehalennia's cool sea air. Something in you is warming up after a long northern winter.

Your question

What is ready to be born is a voice: your own, without translation. The goddesses see it arriving through your hands first, in what you make.

A ritual from the circle

  1. Place a glass of water and a pomegranate seed (or any red fruit) by your window.
  2. Put one hand on your chest where you feel the warmth and say your full name out loud three times.
  3. Drink the water slowly and notice where the warmth moves next.
Give back to the land

Tomorrow morning, scatter a handful of seeds or crumbs for the birds on your street. Nehalennia's gulls count too.

All goddesses love it when you engage with their ecosystem. You'll be rewarded gently.

The grounds will settle differently next time. I'm curious what they'll show.
